PROJECT MANAGEMENT

In the business world, projects are the essence of improvement and progress. They require a large investment in time, money and effort, but can bring significant returns. And almost always, projects mean change.

SKOL Consult recognise this and our project management teams offer a range of services designed to support our clients in the management of change. We provide the total “inception to completion” role of selecting consultants, liaising with the planning consultant / design team in obtaining planning approvals, managing the design and procurement and directing the construction process.  Typical duties include selection and procurement of consultants, obtaining surveys, co-ordination of the compilation of documentation to support planning applications, programming and design management.

We recognise the importance of the program on the investment return of a development and we offer specific programming advice at both Development level and Construction level.  We are skilled at identifying the pinch points in programs and the turning points for the level of risk in a development.  At a construction level our programming seeks to identify key logistical issues such that they can be planned for in advance, as well as verifying the overall construction duration.
